This screenwriting course is presented as an online version of the live Master Class hosted by Max Timm in Los Angeles, and inspired by his popular writing podcast, The Craft.
Whether you are an emerging or experienced writer looking to write a new feature or pilot, this class will motivate and inspire you to complete your 1st draft or next draft. With email support and live Q & A calls every week with the instructor, upon completion of this course you'll discover the quality of your 1st draft to be more like that of a 3rd or 4th draft.
You will receive a designated script deadline where you will submit your screenplay for review and evaluation (three weeks after your final lesson). The ISA will give the script a rating AND a set of detailed notes. If the script rating is high, you will be considered for the ISA Development Program. If you are accepted, the project will be submitted to ISA vetted industry contacts (agents, managers, production companies, producers, etc). The ISA works with companies like Lionsgate, The Weinstein Co, the BBC, Eclectic Pictures and more.
The ISA Development Program has helped 8 writers
receive options and/or agency representation in just 6 months!
The ISA Development Program is designed to be a fast track for ISA members so that the ISA can act as a representative of you and your material WITHOUT the ISA attaching itself to your material. We submit your material to industry professionals, sell you and your writing, and attempt to jump start your career. Soon the Development Program will request an application fee in order for a writer to be considered, but by enrolling in The Craft Course in Screenwriting, you are automatically considered!
So jump in and get ready to write!
With the amount of material that is covered in this course, and with weekly online support and creative help, you will not find a more inexpensive course on screenwriting that offers as much as The Craft Course. The ISA takes pride in offering services to writers without breaking the bank. Take advantage of what is offered here and we promise you will come away with a stronger draft of your script had you tried to go this route alone.
